I just received my contributor copies of the latest issue of Mount Hope in the mail, and I was so excited to see that my work had been picked up by such a lovely magazine. With everything going digital now, it's something special to be able to sit with a book and see some of the ways to innovate with print.
In this issue, Mount Hope, run out of Roger Williams University,
published a poem of mine that I'm rather fond of, "This." It's sort of
my surreal and very slightly autobiographical take on a very broken
ghazal. I wrote it all in a rush, and then slowly edited it. It's a
bit strange and dark, but it was a lot of fun to write. It's available
to read online here, and I hope you enjoy it!
